I am looking for assistance in reaching out to small and medium influencers as part of a marketing effort for my crime/prison novel. I need someone who is experienced at targeting and pitching reviewers and other influencers. I don't need a strategist who will tell me what to do. I would like someone who will do the targeting and pitching and just keep me in the loop. You do not need to be experienced in book publicity, specifically, as long as you have done comparable work. I am aware of packaged book blog tours and other standardized publicity packages and believe they include a lot of irrelevant accounts, inflated follower numbers, and off-target audiences, so I'd rather have someone get to know my book and put in a targeted effort to pitch it to appropriate and legitimate influencers. These don't have to be heavy hitters, just real people with a real following that will lead to real readers, even if it's a modest number at first. I am after sales, reviews, and other exposure that will lead to measurable results. I can spend $1,500 on this job as a start but will extend and/or increase *if* happy with progress. Sell me on what you will do. Please propose a project/payment structure that you think will be successful and, if suggesting a larger project, also provide some accountability.
