Marketing & Brand Strategy Intern – Summer 2025 Location: Hybrid – Remote Work + In-Person Collaboration in Cleveland, OH + Nationwide Travel to Events Duration: May 14 – August 14, 2025 Position Summary BakerBands is seeking highly motivated, entrepreneurial-minded interns for a structured, fast-paced, and impactful summer internship. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in brand development, digital marketing, and national event promotion — all while working directly with leadership and gaining exposure to one of the fastest-growing names in youth sports and culture. As a Marketing & Brand Strategy Intern, you will be part of a small strategic team responsible for executing core marketing initiatives. Each intern team will focus on one area of brand strategy — such as social media growth, ambassador programs, or targeted content development. Your work will be launched in real time, tracked and reviewed for performance, and directly tied to measurable growth outcomes over the course of the three-month program. Interns will have the opportunity to travel to BakerBands events across the country, collaborate in-person twice per month at the Cleveland HQ, and gain meaningful mentorship from executive, operational, and creative leaders. Core Responsibilities Execute a strategic marketing focus as part of a 2–3 person intern team Travel to 10–20 nation wide athlete events, supporting on-site marketing, content creation, and product activation Engage directly with athletes at the collegiate and professional level (NFL, MLB, NCAA) Design, schedule, and post content to platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Identify and onboard brand ambassadors; manage communication and monitor performance Track campaign analytics and assist in refining marketing strategies based on real-time data Enjoy a hybrid experience with remote work flexibility and in-office hours, plus two high-energy collaboration meetings each month at our Cleveland HQ. These sessions are fully catered, led by leadership, and designed for strategy alignment, creative brainstorming, and team connection. Communicate consistently with teammates and assigned leaders across sales, creative, and operations Professional Development & Mentorship Interns will work directly with: The CEO for insight into brand development, high-level strategy, and entrepreneurial execution The Operations Manager for coordination of event logistics, camp scheduling, and lead follow-up processes The Creative Director for real-time execution of visual content, digital storytelling, and campaign rollout All intern-led initiatives will be reviewed, implemented, and optimized based on performance. Growth and outcomes will be documented and presented, giving interns the opportunity to graduate with measurable impact and portfolio-worthy work. Candidate Requirements Available May 14 – August 14, 2025 Able and willing to travel nationally to scheduled events Capable of committing to 16-20 hours of hybrid remote / in office work hours per week when not traveling Highly dependable, organized, and accountable Strong written and verbal communication skills Interest or experience in digital marketing, content strategy, or brand development Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and manage deadlines Compensation & Benefits Paid every two weeks.
