Social Media Help Needed (Facebook)

New SaaS application Gymnastics Training ===The Back Story=== We began our first user interactions in 2017 beta tests ran in multiple phases, first in 2018, then 2019, then again in 2023, and most recently throughout 2024. The Pilot Launch is starting now. today we're ready to begin taking on a handful of early adopter host-facilities each week. I'm not opposed to ads, but I'm not sure it's the right way to go. I just don't know enough to know what I don't know. we are targeting owners and coaches of gymnastics and cheerleading clubs. it's a relatively small # of folks, in the 10s of thousands, here in the US. I'm not opposed to non-us, but they have to be English fluent... and we go deeper into "unknowns unknowns" on multiple fronts when we leave the US Because of the nature of this youth activity, security, and how the software works in their gym ( safety, the in-gym promotion, equipment, parents, the works, etc) we have a relatively comprehensive, (concierge level) onboarding process. We're going into business with these folks for a long time. We're bringing them a lovely, easy new income stream and... a bundle of "not so easy to explain, but wonderful to experience" benefits to their business, and the lives of their customers. Add to that the thrills of "early adopter" tech-requirements... and... well, we have to be a bit selective about who we choose to dance with, without pissing off a bunch of folks who will be next in line. The entire pilot launch is authorized for 100 facilities. In this first group we have space for 28 more. Our best guess, based on beta tests, is that during this first phase of the Pilot Launch, for the next month or so, we can manage the onboarding process for a max of 4-5 new gyms each week. In the 2019 I put two, (2) posts in one, fairly small gymnastics-coach Group on facebook, and had 10 then 25 folks to interview. that was enough. We used a "Group Post" (not an ad) with a picture: just a simple invitation that linked to landing page, (all above the fold) same picture, single paragraph... "if you're really interested fill out the questionnaire link to lengthy google form zoom interview go That rudimentary 2019 experience is basically our entire Facebook (social media) competency in a nutshell, and, markets have evolve a bit since then. More importantly, we're looking for folks (I mean social media folks, perhaps like you) who we enjoy working with... who can grow with us, who can fill the role and lead, into the public launch. There are some 4-6 million US kids, and 60-80 million globally paying for gymnastics and cheerleading lessons this week. we expect to be part of the lives of a good many of them for many years to come. https://coachwayne.com/about.html ==== Who ==== As simple as it sounds... maybe we don't need a "strategist"... maybe just a "show up, try something, test and find out what works" sort of implementer. Maybe we don't need oodles of tracking expertise... maybe we just need an experimenter with some courage. Do you know anything about our customers, or their customers (parents), or the reasons their kids want to be in these sports? That would probably have more meaning to us than a Master's Degree in Business Administration. Can you post to a facebook group? not an Ad... just a plain ole' "these are my people", let's talk to 'em, old fashioned group-post. When did you last do that? That would be meaningful to me. Do you know how to make sure a link in a post works? Terribly simple, terribly basic... and... it doesn't need a 5 hour "Social Media" research report. When is the last time you (not your "team", not your "people"... you.. when's the last time YOU actually dug in, and went through the full grind of the experience that's been engineered for your client... , every step, every word, every piece? New is new, and that means... a lot of "rules need not apply" ... Still, you have to be a master of the basics. I'm not so sure that the best social media advice, the best methods, the best "experts", the "way this is done" is actually, actually delivering the promised goods; at least not what I've seen lately. Lot's of lingo, lot's of "cooking methods" you can do... lot's of "I'll tell you how", but not so much real "here is what you actually asked for." (did you read and understand exactly what MY deliverable request is? up above?) https://forms.gle/BFtshiLJSU7a6E3L6 sometimes the best opportunity shows up in work-clothes with gloves on... homework finished, on time, and with a keen ability to get things done.
