About the Role We're looking for a high-agency SEO Research & Strategy Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. You’ll own SEO strategy end-to-end—from deep research and content planning to technical audits and client-ready deliverables. This isn’t a checkbox role. We’re looking for a proactive problem-solver who can prioritize high-impact work and speak the language of business, not just SEO. What “High Agency” Means to Us You take initiative without waiting for direction. You seek out opportunities, solve problems independently, and drive results. You don’t just follow strategy—you create it. You anticipate needs before they’re asked and take full ownership of your work. What You’ll Do Lead keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience research Build SEO strategies from scratch, including full site audits and opportunity roadmaps Create high-quality, client-facing deliverables such as content calendars, outlines, briefs, and audit reports Prioritize SEO tactics based on business impact, not just best practices Use tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, InLinks, SparkToro, SurferSEO, and GA4 for insights and execution Generate internal linking strategies and conduct internal link mapping Identify CRO testing opportunities and integrate SEO with user experience Build reports and dashboards in Data Studio/Looker Collaborate with content teams to align SEO goals with brand messaging Stay current and experiment with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Grok for workflow optimization Understand and implement local SEO strategies (GBP, citations, local landing pages, etc.) What You Bring Proven experience in SEO strategy, ideally in an agency or high-output consulting role Deep understanding of keyword research, content strategy, and search intent Ability to communicate complex SEO ideas in business terms Strong written and verbal communication skills Tech-savvy with tools and platforms listed above Highly organized and detail-oriented—can juggle multiple projects and deadlines Eagerness to learn, evolve, and adapt with the industry High integrity—you do what you say and say what you mean Strong documentation and client communication skills Nice to Have Experience with schema markup, content consolidation, and cannibalization analysis Familiarity with CRM or project management tools like ClickUp, Asana, or Notion Experience working directly with developers or in cross-functional teams Compensation $500/weekly flat fee.
