**Job Description: Freelance Videographer for B-Roll and Content Shoots** We are looking for a skilled and creative videographer to shoot 2 hours of content every 1-2 weeks, primarily for B-roll footage in various locations around Northwest Washington, DC. The ideal candidate should be comfortable shooting in diverse environments, including coffee shops, cafes, parks, interior home spaces, and more. **Responsibilities:** - Shoot B-roll footage out and about in different locations (coffee shops, parks, home interiors, etc.). - Capture some face-to-camera talking shots, though these will be minimal. - Ensure high-quality video and sound recording with attention to detail in both production and lighting. - Deliver raw footage, color-corrected but without final editing. We want to retain all footage for later editing, making this a straightforward job for the right person. - Collaborate with the team to understand creative needs and ensure the footage aligns with project goals. **Requirements:** - Proven experience shooting high-quality video content. - Ability to work in various environments and adapt to different settings. - Own or access to professional video equipment. - Strong understanding of lighting, framing, and sound. - Ability to deliver raw footage that is color corrected but not edited. - Portfolio or previous work required to apply. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience working on long-term projects and building a collaborative relationship with clients. - Familiarity with editing software to assist with basic color correction (though primary focus is on shooting). **Why Join:** This role has the potential to turn into a long-term freelance relationship, offering consistent work on future shoots.
