Video Editor & Social Media Producer (YouTube/TikTok/IG) Job Description: I’m looking for a skilled video editor and short-form content producer to help repurpose existing film and behind-the-scenes material into engaging, platform-ready videos for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels. I’m a working cinematographer and filmmaker with a library of high-quality content (interviews, on-set footage, podcast segments, etc.). I want to build a consistent presence across platforms — without doing the editing and posting myself. You’ll Be Responsible For: Editing short-form content from existing long-form video (films, BTS, podcast clips, etc.) Adding text overlays, subtitles, transitions, and basic motion graphics Creating and managing a TikTok page and YouTube Shorts channel Uploading, optimizing, and posting on a weekly or bi-weekly basis Suggesting content ideas based on trends or evergreen value Industry Experience Required: Prior experience in the film and television industry is required Must have a general working knowledge of standard production/post-production terms, workflows, and resources Comfort with cinematic language and visual storytelling is a must You’re a Good Fit If You: Have experience editing cinematic or documentary-style content Understand short-form storytelling and audience retention Know TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts formats deeply Can work with minimal direction once the tone is set Have a strong aesthetic sense — especially when it comes to film, story, or visuals Are organized and communicate well Scope: This is a monthly contract to start — ideally 10–12 short clips a month
