Creative Videographer Needed for Cinematic, Documentary-Style Vlog Series (100 Episodes)

I’m launching an ambitious vlog series capturing my life and entrepreneurial adventures in downtown Los Angeles. I’m looking for a skilled and creative freelance videographer to shoot approximately 100 episodes over the next 6 months. Each episode will blend documentary storytelling, cinematic visuals, direct-to-camera narration (breaking the 4th wall), humor, and satirical commentary. Episodes will feature day-to-day activities such as fashion resale ventures, exploring local food culture, personal reflections, and authentic city experiences. I currently have access to a decent equipment budget if needed. Equipment I currently own is a Sony FX30. An E PZ 18-105mm f/4.0 G. A FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM II. DJi Mic 2. Amaran 300C & 150C. Tabletop Tripod. 2x SmallRig Light Stands. Ideal candidate should have: • Strong cinematic shooting skills with professional equipment. • Experience filming engaging, high-quality vlogs or documentaries. • An eye for storytelling through visuals and creative angles. • Ability to capture natural dialogue and authentic moments clearly. • Flexibility and reliability for consistent shooting schedule (multiple shoots per week). • Understanding of pacing, composition, and humor in visual storytelling. Responsibilities include: • Filming high-quality, cinematic footage for episodes (approx. 8-15 mins each). • Collaborating creatively to plan and capture compelling scenes and B-roll. • Ensuring footage quality, sound clarity, and visual appeal. Preferred qualifications: • Experience in shooting lifestyle, documentary, or vlog-style content. • Knowledge of Los Angeles and its cultural hotspots for filming. • Strong portfolio showcasing cinematic style and storytelling skills.
