Location: NewCrits – Remote Duration: 3–6 months About the Role: We are seeking a Media Production Intern to assist in editing and repurposing video content from our Artist Talks. This role is ideal for someone passionate about video editing, storytelling, and content creation, with a keen eye for engaging digital audiences across YouTube and Instagram. Responsibilities: - Edit 1-hour Artist Talk videos for YouTube, ensuring high-quality visuals and clear audio. - Create engaging short-form content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) by selecting key moments from the talks and adding captions, graphics, and transitions. - Optimize video content for different platforms, considering aspect ratios, pacing, and audience engagement. - Collaborate with the team to align content with branding and messaging. - Assist in uploading and organizing video and transcript assets as needed. - *A plus but not required: Edit and refine transcripts of the Artist Talks for clarity and readability. - *A plus but not required: Extract compelling interview excerpts from the talks to be used for social media posts and promotional materials. Requirements: - Expert skills in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar). - Experience editing both long-form and short-form video content for social media. - Strong storytelling skills, with an eye for engaging and impactful moments. - Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. - Interest in art and culture. - *A plus but not required: Experience with transcript editing and written content refinement.
