Video editor needed for short video animated and recorded action video spots. We create video spots for broadcast distribution, digital Hulu, Youtube, and social channels. Most projects are "quick-turn" with tight deadlines for revisions on feedback and completion. Typical spots are :30, :15, and :06-:10 seconds in length, but may vary. Most projects will have approximately 8 outputs of the same basic material but with variations in length and minor variations in content to accommodate changes in length. We may provide samples of previous work as a guide and inspiration to the creative director. Payment is project-based, per spot, and also somewhat dependent on how many different outputs are required for each spot. It is expected that the editor will meet feedback with prompt and complete edits to achieve the desired end product on time. The typical project cycle is 10 days, but often shorter. The Animator will work remotely with a team including Creative Directors, Art Director, Audio Engineer, and Project Manager to achieve project goals and final deliverables to the client's specifications. The Animator will participate in a kickoff meeting of each project with the entire team. The Animator will work with the team to execute concepts outlined in a creative brief and a deck. PSDs and other assets are typically provided. The Animator is expected to participate in the feedback loop to refine the project to completion. The typical project cycle is 10 days, but often shorter. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of successful completion of similar projects, as well as hands-on experience and current skills with the Adobe creative suite. It is expected that the Animator will meet feedback with prompt and complete edits to achieve the desired end product on time or early.
