Job Overview: We are looking for a talented Podcast Editor to join our team and assist with editing and producing high-quality episodes for our podcast. The ideal candidate will have experience editing podcasts, a keen ear for audio quality, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. You will play a key role in ensuring the podcast sounds polished, professional, and engaging for our audience. Key Responsibilities: Edit and finalize podcast episodes (removing background noise, enhancing audio quality, cutting unnecessary content, etc.). Edit audio tracks to ensure seamless transitions and smooth flow between segments. Mix and master audio to professional standards, including balancing sound levels, adding music and effects as needed. Collaborate with hosts to ensure episode content meets expectations and vision. Add intro/outro music, guest features, and product review segments as directed. Ensure that episodes are uploaded to the hosting platform (Buzzsprout, Podbean, etc.) in a timely manner. Help with formatting and optimizing audio for YouTube uploads (if applicable). Provide feedback on audio quality and suggest improvements for future recordings. Qualifications: Proven experience in podcast editing and audio production. Familiarity with editing software such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Logic Pro. Knowledge of audio mixing, mastering, and production techniques. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude. Experience with YouTube optimization is a plus. Compensation: Pay is per episode or hourly, depending on experience and volume of work. Flexibility to work remotely with a collaborative, creative team.
