Remote Administrative/Office Assistant – Aneko Press Who We Are: Aneko Press is a small Christian publisher based in Abbotsford, Wisconsin. We publish approximately two books per month, focusing on updated Puritan-era Christian books and new works by ministry-oriented authors. What We're Looking For: We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated administrative/office assistant to help with various tasks remotely. The position requires flexibility, with weekly hours ranging from a few to up to 15, depending on workload and individual capabilities. Responsibilities May Include: * Answering phone calls via VoIP. * Responding to emails. * Entering donations and sending receipts. * Processing customer orders and website transactions. * Reconciling bank accounts. * Entering bills, credit card charges, and vendor sales reports. * Preparing quarterly royalty reports. * Uploading books and related materials to vendors. * Performing minor editorial tasks. * Potentially assisting with typesetting, cover design, and other design tasks (depending on skills). Required Skills & Qualifications: * Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. * Familiarity with remote-access software (e.g., TeamViewer). * Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Pro. * Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (including calendar and task management). * Strong written communication and basic editorial skills. (We follow The Chicago Manual of Style and The Christian Writer’s Manual of Style.) Preferred but Not Required: * Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
