UX Designer (Contract) – Billing Platform LOCAL ONLY

The Role: We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented UX Designer who can dissect complex billing processes, understand the user experience from both sides of the interface, and translate it into an elegant, intuitive system. You’ll help us streamline the backend experience for our internal team while enhancing how clients view and manage payments, invoices, and communications through our platform. Key Responsibilities: - Audit and map current billing workflows and platform flows - Interview team members and shadow current processes to gather insights - Design user journey maps, internal workflows, and external-facing interfaces - Create low and high-fidelity wireframes for development handoff - Collaborate closely with product, operations, and engineering to ensure feasibility - Help simplify communication touchpoints around payments, invoicing, and support - Focus on clarity, efficiency, and reducing steps wherever possible What We’re Looking For: - Availability for on-site working sessions in North Miami Beach - 3+ years in UX design, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or billing-heavy platforms - Strong understanding of payment workflows and user psychology - Experience working with 3rd-party billing systems or complex APIs is a plus - Mastery of wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) - Comfort working in fast-paced, collaborative environments Bonus Points For: - Understanding of credit card processing or merchant services - UI/UX testing and iteration experience - Ability to turn user interviews into actionable design decisions
