Project Overview We have existing Power BI dashboards and need a UI/UX expert to refine and enhance them for better usability, interactivity, and aesthetics. This is a short-term contract project (with the potential for future work) focused on improving existing dashboards rather than building from scratch. We are looking for a freelancer or agency with strong experience in Power BI, data visualization, and UX best practices. Scope of Work • Evaluate existing Power BI dashboards and identify UX/UI improvements. • Enhance data storytelling by improving visual hierarchy, layout, and interactions. • Improve navigation, filtering, and user workflows for an intuitive experience. • Optimize performance and responsiveness across desktop and mobile. • Customize Power BI themes, branding, and interface elements. • Work closely with our team to implement changes iteratively. Who We’re Looking For • Proven experience in Power BI UI/UX design and dashboard refinement. • Strong knowledge of Power BI visuals, DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service. • Understanding of best practices for usability, accessibility, and data visualization. • Experience conducting usability testing and implementing feedback. • Ability to communicate effectively and work independently. Nice to Have • Experience with SQL, Azure, and API integrations in Power BI. • Familiarity with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for embedded Power BI. • Previous work on financial, security, or enterprise-level dashboards.
