WordPress Migration & UX Design Expert Needed

Overview We are a rapidly-growing healthcare SaaS startup currently on Wix and preparing to migrate our entire web presence to WordPress. This project involves a complete redesign and UX overhaul — not just a platform transfer. We’re looking for an experienced WordPress designer/developer who can spearhead this migration from strategy to execution. What We Need Migration Leadership: Own the full process of moving our site from Wix to WordPress without loss of SEO performance or functionality. New Design & UX: Create a modern, clean, and user-friendly experience that aligns with our brand and appeals to our B2B healthcare audience. SEO & Performance-Focused: Collaborate with our in-house SEO/SEM team to ensure proper tagging, metadata, page speed, and technical SEO best practices. Custom WordPress Build: Preferably using a flexible builder (e.g., Elementor, Gutenberg, or a custom theme) with future scalability in mind. Responsive Design: Mobile-first, cross-browser compatible, optimized for performance and accessibility. CMS Training/Documentation: Provide guidance and documentation for our internal team to manage updates post-launch. Ideal Candidate Proven experience in Wix-to-WordPress migrations Strong UX/UI design portfolio Deep knowledge of WordPress, including theme customization, plugins, and performance optimization Experience working with healthcare or SaaS companies is a plus Familiarity with SEO best practices, analytics integration, and page speed tools Excellent communication and project management skills Deliverables Project roadmap and wireframes Final WordPress build with all migrated content SEO-preserving 301 redirects and technical handoff Internal training documentation and a style guide Ongoing support (optional, please specify availability)
