UX/UI Designer for Wearable-Connected Mobile App

Description: We are seeking a highly skilled UX/UI designer to help deliver the vision for our mobile app that syncs with a wearable device used in contact sports. The wearable hardware elements are complete and the product is currently in use. We are now focusing on crafting a seamless and engaging user experience that effectively connects the wearable data stream to inform the user of performance improvement and safety. Requirements: - Extensive experience in UX/UI design for mobile applications.  - Strong background in designing wearable devices and understanding of user behavior with wearables.  - Proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design.  - Knowledge of best practices for Bluetooth-connected device interfaces.  - Ability to translate core UX functions into an intuitive and visually compelling design. Project Scope: The hired designer will be responsible for:  - Developing the UX vision and wireframes based on our Core UX functions document.  - Creating user-friendly interfaces that streamline interaction with wearable device data. - Ensuring an intuitive design that enhances the users experience while tracking head positioning metrics.  - Refining workflows for data visualization and feedback mechanisms. Deliverables: - UX vision document detailing design approach and user journey. - Wireframes and prototypes for key app screens.  - Final high-fidelity UI designs.  - Design assets for development handoff. Additional Information:  - A demonstration video of the device in use is provided.  - Selected designer will receive the hardware device for hands-on testing.  - There is no immediate deadline, but we expect consistent progress. Proposal Submission: Interested candidates should submit: 1. Estimated number of hours to complete the project. 2. Cost per hour. 3. Breakdown of deliverables included in their proposal. 4. Portfolio showcasing relevant UX/UI experience, especially with wearables. Work Structure: To ensure compatibility with our expectations, we encourage you to structure your proposal in stages of work milestones. This will ensure the approach is aligned with our vision.
