TITLE: Fractional, Controller (~15/hours per week) PREFERRED LOCATION: US-Based Who The Flip Is Flip?: Ever have a bad experience calling customer service? We're changing that! We support companies within eCommerce and Transportation and have another vertical in incubator stages. Our software talks to millions of people weekly and has helped 200M+ callers so far. Our growth is inevitable as only 1% of companies have adopted this technology today and yet everyone agrees it is obvious. We aim to lead this change and focus on winning within our verticals, one at a time. Flip is a profitable, fast-growing and a well-funded 40-person startup. We are in-office, with spaces in NYC, LA, and the UK. Our team is the most important and best thing we’ve built. What You’ll Do: Reporting to the CEO and CoFounder, you will have sole responsibility for all aspects of the day-to-day financial management of the company including: the preparation of the monthly financial package; annual taxes, AP/AR and financial compliance. -Oversee all accounting functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP. -Continually review accounting policies and procedures to ensure that the company is compliant with GAAP and statutory accounting -Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to drive financial strategy. -Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including tax planning and reporting. -Collaborate and manage our bookkeeper and accountant -Own the weekly cash flow model -Create, document and implement internal control process initiatives -Manage budget and forecast vs actual analysis -Partner with Founders / Investors on company performance evaluation -Assist in building the annual budget and quarterly forecasts -Comfortable working in QBO, bill.com, Brex, Pandadoc, Hubspot, Omni Pulse What We’re Looking For: -10+ years of financial leadership, Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA required -5 years of Audit experience -5 years of accounting experience with time spent in a leadership role -Experience in a SaaS or technology company is preferred -Start up experience needed, does not let great be the enemy of good and collaborates with us on slack -Ability to work 15-20 hours per week
