Xactimate Estimator - Mitigation, Contents & Reconstruction (Billing & Settlement Expert)

Job Responsibilities: Estimate Preparation & Billing: Create and submit accurate, high-value Xactimate estimates for Mitigation, Contents, and Reconstruction. Ensure all estimates are properly documented to justify the maximum billable amount within industry standards. Submit invoices within 48 hours of work completion. Insurance Carrier Negotiation & Settlement: Work directly with adjusters to settle claims within 14 days. Handle all supplement requests and negotiations to increase settlement amounts. Effectively communicate with carriers to minimize back-and-forth delays. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all necessary photos, reports, and supporting documents are included. Stay updated on industry standards, pricing, and carrier trends to maximize approvals. Qualifications: ✅ Proven experience as an Xactimate Estimator, preferably in restoration (Mitigation, Contents, and Recon). ✅ Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes and carrier settlement strategies. ✅ Ability to maximize estimates without pushback from carriers. ✅ Fast turnaround time: 48-hour billing & 14-day settlement goal. ✅ Excellent communication & negotiation skills with adjusters. ✅ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
