SalesForce Data Entry - Create a Solution

We (small business 3 people) use Salesforce in a very unique way (for 10+ years) . . .so Must be Experienced in Salesforce . . .we have 20,000+ clients - NO Salespeople (or just one license) as we use Salesforce simply for Client data. No reports nothing much else. . . . We have excel data files of phone #'s that were called / contacted by us . . . . We want to insert that data into SalesForce by finding the correct contact Phone number. ( Contact in SalesForce will have multiple tel #'s . . . ex: Direct line - cell - general tel # - Assistant's tel - co-worker tel #) . . . We want the solution to be that this (telphone call) data Finds the Correct Contact in Saleforce AND the Correct Phone number . . . then inserts into a Field (one that exists or one that we create) inside that contact . . .some information. example of that information Field . . . ."could be" Contacted 2024 - Talked 2025 - VM 2023
