We are seeking a an experienced Odoo Development and Implementation Specialist to design, implement, and optimize a custom solution within Odoo platform. The role involves creating a digital Lab Report form and automating workflows for calibration tracking. The developer will ensure that each Lab Report generates a unique tracking number (MFT #) for every calibration completed within a customer’s order, even if multiple calibrations are associated with a single order. The solution must streamline data entry, project tracking, and reporting processes. Key Responsibilities: Digital Transformation: Convert the existing PDF Lab Report form into a fully integrated digital format within the Odoo platform. Ensure all captured data aligns with existing workflows and project tracking requirements. Unique Tracking System: Develop a system to generate a unique MFT # for each calibration performed. Enable accurate tracking and reporting of multiple calibrations within a single customer order. Workflow Customization: Create custom fields, workflows, and automations within Odoo to manage calibration data efficiently. Integrate the digital Lab Report form into Odoo workflows for real-time tracking, notifications, and data synchronization. Testing and Implementation: Test the customized solution thoroughly, identifying and troubleshooting potential issues. Provide comprehensive documentation and conduct user training to ensure smooth adoption. Integration and Reporting: Leverage Odoo APIs for potential integrations with third-party tools or systems. Develop advanced reporting capabilities for detailed tracking and analysis of calibrations and orders. Skills & Qualifications Required: Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Odoo customization and configuration across various modules. Experience in Python and Odoo's ORM framework for advanced development tasks. Strong knowledge of Odoo Studio for workflow and form customization. Expertise in creating custom fields, forms, and workflows for data capture and tracking. Project Management: Ability to design and implement efficient custom workflows within Odoo. Familiarity with tracking systems and generating unique identifiers for report-based data. Problem-Solving & Testing: Strong skills in debugging, troubleshooting, and ensuring seamless functionality of the implementation. Experience in testing and validating new solutions prior to rollout. User Training & Documentation: Effective communication skills for training end-users on the customized Odoo solution. Ability to create detailed documentation for ongoing system use and maintenance.
