Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Freelance Client Acquisition Manager to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, engage, and onboard enterprise-level clients in need of daily IT services and solutions. You will source daily IT job requirements (e.g., software development, IT support, cloud services) from these clients, design and develop compelling RFPs to secure contracts, and build a pipeline of new client relationships. This role is critical to expanding our vendor empanelment with enterprises and ensuring a steady flow of IT projects. Key Responsibilities 1. Client Outreach and Acquisition • Identify and target enterprise-level companies with recurring IT needs using market research, industry networks, and platforms like LinkedIn, Upwork for Enterprise, or vendor management systems (e.g., SimpleVMS, Gatekeeper). • Initiate contact with procurement teams, IT department heads, and decision-makers (e.g., Procurement Managers, CIOs) to pitch our IT services. • Build and maintain a database of prospective clients, tracking outreach efforts and follow-ups. 2. Sourcing Daily IT Requirements • Establish relationships with enterprises, staffing agencies, and VMS providers to secure a consistent stream of daily IT job requirements (e.g., coding tasks, system maintenance, cybersecurity audits). • Act as a liaison between clients and our team, ensuring job specifications are clear and actionable. • Leverage existing vendor networks (e.g., TIGI HR, NTech Workforce) to tap into pre-existing client job pipelines. 3. RFP Design and Development • Create tailored RFPs that highlight our IT capabilities, pricing models, and compliance with enterprise standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR). • Collaborate with our technical team to ensure RFPs align with client needs and showcase our scalability and expertise. • Submit RFPs to procurement teams or through client-specified channels, following up to address questions and negotiate terms. 4. Relationship Management • Nurture long-term relationships with new and existing clients to secure ongoing empanelment and repeat business. • Coordinate with intermediaries (e.g., consulting firms like EY, outsourcing providers like Archway) to position us as a preferred IT vendor. • Provide regular updates to clients on project fulfillment and performance metrics. 5. Market Expansion • Attend industry events, webinars, or trade shows (virtual or in-person) to network with potential clients and stay updated on IT procurement trends. • Explore partnerships with industry-specific networks (e.g., Workrise for tech-adjacent sectors) to broaden our client base. Qualifications and Skills • Experience: • Proven track record in client acquisition, sales, or business development, preferably in the IT services sector (2+ years). • Experience crafting RFPs or proposals for enterprise clients. • Familiarity with vendor empanelment processes and procurement workflows. • Skills: • Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage C-level executives and procurement teams. • Ability to understand IT service offerings (e.g., software development, cloud migration) and translate them into client-friendly proposals. • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and VMS platforms (e.g., Gatekeeper, SimpleVMS). • Research and networking skills to identify decision-makers and industry opportunities. • Attributes: • Self-motivated, with a hunter mentality for new business opportunities. • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple client relationships and deadlines. Tools and Resources Provided • Access to our company portfolio, case studies, and IT service descriptions for RFP development. • Templates for outreach emails and RFP frameworks. • Support from our technical team for scoping IT requirements. Performance Metrics • Secure at least 10 new enterprise clients within the contract period. • Source a minimum of 100 daily IT job requirements per week. • Successfully submit 100 RFPs with a conversion rate of at least [e.g., 30%]. Preferred Qualifications (Optional) • Existing network of contacts in IT procurement or enterprise vendor management. • Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA) relevant to IT services. • Experience working with staffing agencies or B2B marketplaces in the IT sector.
