As we continue to grow and expand, we are focused on modernizing and optimizing our sales and marketing technology stack to support future growth and deliver exceptional experiences to our customers. About the Opportunity: Chelsea Piers is seeking an experienced Customer Lifecycle & Sales Enablement Manager for a focused three to six month consulting engagement with the goals of auditing our existing CRM implementation and proposing improvements to sales motions and marketing automations across various products. This role will be critical in refining and systematizing our sales and marketing processes across our three core business verticals: Fitness, Sports, and Events. The goal of this engagement is to identify and implement best-in-class sales enablement and lifecycle marketing strategies—leveraging tools such as Zoho (CRM and Campaigns), our data warehouse (Redshift), and analytics platforms—to improve lead conversion, customer onboarding, retention, and engagement. As a hands-on operator, you will develop the strategy and oversee the execution of sales workflows and lifecycle campaigns, working closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Product, Technology, and Operations. This part-time role reports to the CTO and CPO and collaborates with senior leadership across departments. While flexible, we'd like for one day per week to be spent in person in our Chelsea office. Key Responsibilities As a consulting Customer Lifecycle & Sales Enablement Manager, you will: • Audit existing sales and marketing processes and tools, identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency, and improved customer experience. • Develop the strategy for online and offline sales motions for various product offerings including Golf Private Lessons, Golf Membership, Corporate Partnerships, Birthday Parties, and Private Events. • Oversee the design, configuration, and optimization of our CRM (Zoho) for lead routing, nurturing sequences, onboarding campaigns, and win-back flows. • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align sales processes and lifecycle marketing efforts with broader customer acquisition and retention goals. • Define and implement customer segmentation strategies to deliver personalized and relevant communications across touchpoints. • Design lifecycle marketing campaigns that span the entire customer journey — from lead acquisition to onboarding, engagement, and retention. • Analyze performance data and report on key lifecycle and campaign metrics, including lead-to-member conversion, churn rates, and customer engagement. • Establish frameworks and documentation for scalable lifecycle marketing programs that can be owned by internal teams after the engagement concludes. About You: • You are a hands-on CRM, sales enablement, and lifecycle marketing expert, passionate about building and optimizing automated marketing programs that drive measurable business results. • You are comfortable both developing high-level strategy and diving into technical configuration to make sure campaigns launch successfully. • You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, and Tech teams to align on customer engagement strategies. • You are data-driven and curious, always testing and optimizing to improve outcomes. Qualifications: • 5+ years of hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (Zoho preferred, but similar tools like Hubspot, Salesforce, also considered). • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business including engineering, design, finance, marketing, sales, and operations. • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to CRM operations (HTML templates, list segmentation, data events, email execution) • Proven track record of designing and executing successful lifecycle marketing and CRM programs that improve lead conversion, retention, and customer engagement. • Strong technical proficiency in CRM/marketing automation configuration, including list management, workflows, lead scoring, email templates, and integrations. • Deep understanding of customer journey mapping, segmentation, and personalization strategies. • Ability to analyze data and campaign performance metrics to inform strategy and optimization. • Excellent communication and project management skills, with experience collaborating across Marketing, Sales, and Technology teams. • A strategic thinker and tactical executor—comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done while keeping the big picture in mind.
