IT/Tech Specialist for Website Migrations, DNS, and Email Deliverability We are a marketing website agency looking for a highly skilled IT/Tech Specialist to assist with various technical tasks related to website migrations, domain management, email deliverability, and server configurations. The ideal candidate should not only have strong technical expertise but also excellent communication skills to interact with clients and resolve issues effectively. Responsibilities: Perform seamless website migrations between hosting providers, ensuring minimal downtime. Manage DNS settings (Cloudflare, Namecheap, GoDaddy, etc.), including A records, CNAME, MX, and TXT configurations. Troubleshoot and resolve email deliverability issues related to SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and blacklisting. Set up and manage email authentication protocols to improve inbox placement. Configure and maintain CDN services (e.g., Cloudflare) for website performance and security. Assist with SSL certificate installations and troubleshooting mixed content issues. Provide technical support for WordPress, Elementor, and other CMS-related issues. Identify and resolve server-related issues, including PHP versions, database errors, and caching problems. Communicate directly with clients, providing clear explanations and updates on technical issues. Be available for client calls when necessary to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in real time. Collaborate with our team to ensure best practices in security, performance, and scalability. Requirements: Proven experience in website migrations and DNS management. Deep understanding of email deliverability best practices, SPF/DKIM/DMARC setup, and troubleshooting. Experience working with hosting providers (e.g., SiteGround, WP Engine, Cloudways, Bluehost, Kinsta, etc.). Strong knowledge of WordPress, Elementor, and web hosting environments. Familiarity with SMTP relay services (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Mailgun, SendGrid, etc.). Ability to diagnose and fix server errors, database issues, and CDN configurations. Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical issues in a way clients can understand. Comfortable speaking with clients on Zoom, Google Meet, or phone calls to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Bonus Skills (Preferred, but not required): Experience with Cloudflare Workers, AWS, or Google Cloud. Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for websites. Ability to automate repetitive tasks with scripts or tools. Job Details: Project-Based & Ongoing Work (We will need support for multiple projects). Competitive pay based on experience.
