Our firm is seeking an experienced and resourceful Legal Speaker Outreach Specialist to identify, secure, and manage strategic speaking opportunities that will enhance our presence in the legal industry. This position reports to the managing partner. Position Overview: The Speaking Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for researching and securing high-impact speaking opportunities for our managing partner at legal conferences, industry summits, bar association events, podcasts, webinars, and other professional forums. This role requires someone with strong research, communication, and networking skills to align our expertise with the right audiences, maximizing exposure and business growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities: • Identify Speaking Opportunities: Research and curate relevant conferences, events, legal tech summits, AI-focused panels, and law firm management forums where our managing partner can contribute as a speaker. • Outreach & Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with event organizers, legal associations, and industry thought leaders to secure speaking engagements. • Proposal Development: Prepare compelling speaker proposals, applications, and abstracts tailored to each opportunity. • Event Coordination: Manage submission deadlines, speaking schedules, and post-event follow-ups. • Content Collaboration: Work closely with the managing partner and marketing team to align presentations with the firm's thought leadership strategy. • Industry Monitoring: Stay updated on trends in legal operations, AI-driven law firm management, and case management technology to align speaking topics with industry demand. Qualifications & Experience: • Prior experience in public relations, event coordination, marketing, or business development (preferably in the legal or tech industry). • Strong research skills and ability to identify high-value speaking opportunities aligned with our expertise. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting speaker proposals and networking with industry leaders. • Knowledge of legal technology, AI, and law firm operations is a plus. • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently. • Experience with LinkedIn outreach, legal conferences, or professional speaking engagements is preferred.
