Our AI diffusion model technology powers the online fashion e-commerce experience. As we scale, we seek an experienced Patent Attorney to secure our intellectual property, including trademarks, patents, and proprietary AI features. Specially the brand. Job Description We are looking for a highly skilled Patent Attorney with experience in AI, software, and e-commerce technology to lead our IP strategy. This role will be responsible for identifying, filing, and managing patents, trademarks, and trade secrets to protect our groundbreaking AI diffusion model and its applications. Key Responsibilities • Conduct patentability assessments and draft patent applications for our AI-powered technologies. • File and manage trademark applications for our brand and proprietary product features. • Develop and implement an IP protection strategy aligned with business goals. • Conduct freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses to mitigate legal risks. • Monitor industry trends and advise leadership on IP portfolio expansion. • Work with R&D and engineering teams to identify patentable innovations. • Manage relationships with patent offices, external counsel, and regulatory bodies. • Provide legal guidance on licensing, IP disputes, and enforcement strategies. Qualifications & Experience • J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to the USPTO (or relevant patent bar). • 5+ years of experience in patent law, preferably in AI, SaaS, or e-commerce technologies. • Proven track record of drafting and prosecuting patents in AI, ML, and software innovations. • Strong knowledge of trademark law and brand protection strategies. • Experience in IP litigation, licensing, and technology agreements is a plus. • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineers, data scientists, and business leaders. • Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
