Job Description: I’m looking for a skilled 3D artist to design a 2.5D half-bust relief inspired by the Haunted Mansion busts—with a twist! The bust should be inverted so that it creates the illusion of following the viewer’s gaze, just like the eerie optical illusion seen in the Haunted Mansion attraction. This model will be used for 3-axis CNC machining, so it must be optimized accordingly. Project Requirements: Style & Inspiration: The design should be reminiscent of the Haunted Mansion busts, featuring an original old man or old lady character with a ghostly, Victorian, or gothic aesthetic. The facial features should be expressive and detailed, evoking a haunting presence. Inverted Face Effect: The bust must be sculpted in a concave (hollowed-out) manner, so that it creates the optical illusion of following the viewer when they move. Depth & Scaling: The final bust should be scalable to approximately 10 inches in height, with a maximum depth of 3 inches to ensure compatibility with CNC machining. No Undercuts: The model must be fully compatible with 3-axis CNC machining, meaning no undercuts that would prevent proper carving. File Format: Deliver the final design in a high-resolution STL or OBJ format, optimized for CNC machining.
