Job Description We are looking for a skilled 3D rendering specialist to transform an Onshape model of industrial equipment into a high-quality, life-like visual representation using Onshape’s built-in rendering tools. These visuals will be used on our website, in marketing materials, and for presentations. In addition to delivering the final renders, we require detailed step-by-step documentation on how to replicate the process for future models within Onshape. Project Scope Utilize Onshape’s built-in rendering tools to create high-quality, realistic product visuals. Apply accurate materials, textures, and lighting within Onshape. Provide multiple high-resolution rendered images from different angles. Document the entire rendering process in a clear, step-by-step guide for internal use. Step-by-Step Instructions to Include in the Final Deliverable The freelancer should provide a detailed guide covering the following steps: 1. Preparing the Model in Onshape Open the Onshape model and ensure all parts are properly assembled. Check for correct dimensions, orientations, and component alignment. Simplify unnecessary details if needed to optimize rendering performance. 2. Applying Materials & Textures in Onshape Access Onshape’s Appearance Manager (or Rendering Environment if applicable). Assign appropriate materials to different components (e.g., metal, painted surfaces, plastic). Adjust surface properties such as reflectivity, roughness, and transparency.
