Customer Support Freelancer (Live Seafood Brand) – About 7 hours/week We’re Lobsterboys, a fast-growing DTC seafood brand shipping wild-caught live lobsters straight from the dock to our customers’ doors. We’re looking for a high-energy, people-first customer support freelancer to join our team. This role is part-time to start—about 1 hour a day, 7 days a week—with potential to grow. You'll be the calm, kind, and resourceful voice our customers hear when they need help (and sometimes, when things don’t go as planned). What You'll do: - Check and respond to customer emails daily - Provide friendly and professional responses to product and order inquiries - Ensure tracking is sent when orders are revised - Proactively follow up on open issues or concerns - Call customers directly (as needed) for quick resolutions - Submit refund or discount requests for approval - Ensure every customer feels taken care of—like a friend, not a number Who You Are: - You live by the motto: “Kill them with kindness” - You know shipping issues happen—but how we respond makes all the difference - You're a clear communicator, great with people, and proactive with problem-solving - You're reliable, organized, and genuinely enjoy helping others Bonus: You have experience with Shopify and/or customer support tools If you can turn a tricky shipping day into a loyal customer experience, we’d love to hear from you.
