Friends Of Parkside (FOP), a nonprofit in Detroit, seeks a qualified customer service training consultant to deliver a trauma-informed, culturally competent training to our food pantry staff and volunteers. The training will focus on communication, empathy, and de-escalation skills for interacting with pantry clients. Audience: 25–40 staff/volunteers Format: In-person required for initial meetings/training; then virtual if needed Deliverables: Training session(s), materials, summary report Note: This project is contingent on grant funding. Awards will be announced early June 2025, and the training must occur between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026.
