We are seeking a skilled and reliable freelance developer to provide ongoing support and maintenance for our KnowledgeHub, a resource center developed by the Structured Finance Association (SFA). The KnowledgeHub is designed to provide our members with centralized access to research, data, policy materials, and other relevant industry insights. While it's linked from our main SFA website, it operates on a separate tech stack and hosting environment. This role is ideal for someone who can ensure the platform remains secure, functional, and up-to-date while also helping us monitor key performance metrics and system health. About the KnowledgeHub: The KnowledgeHub is a custom-built portal serving thousands of industry professionals who rely on it for timely and accurate structured finance content. The platform supports a growing library of searchable documents, visualizations, and data-driven resources that are updated regularly by our internal team. Your work will help ensure that this content is reliably available and easily accessible for our users. Tech Stack: - CI/CD & Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, YAML, Bash - Backend: Python, Flask, MongoDB, PyMongo - Frontend: ReactJS (JavaScript) Responsibilities: - Ensure the KnowledgeHub is running smoothly and efficiently - Monitor system health and key performance metrics (KPMs) - Perform regular updates and upgrades across the stack - Troubleshoot issues and implement fixes proactively - Collaborate with our internal team on occasional feature enhancements or design tweaks - Provide guidance and documentation on best practices Ideal Candidate Will Have: - Proven experience with the listed tech stack - Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills - Experience maintaining web applications in a production environment - Familiarity with MongoDB performance tuning and Flask app deployment - Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset - Availability for periodic check-ins and on-call support for critical issues Project Scope: - Light feature development may be requested, but primary focus is maintenance, system monitoring, and uptime reliability
