Position Summary: We are hiring an experienced Azure Cloud Migration Engineer to lead the transformation of on-premises infrastructure into scalable, secure, and high-performing Microsoft Azure environments. This role requires deep technical knowledge, hands-on implementation experience, and a strategic mindset to support complex enterprise migrations—ideally within the context of mergers and acquisitions. Key Responsibilities: Lead design, planning, and execution of on-premise to Azure cloud migrations, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and hybrid models. Assess existing infrastructure and define migration strategies aligned with performance, security, cost, and operational goals. Manage and implement Azure services including IaaS (VMs, networking, storage), PaaS, identity and access (AAD), governance, and security frameworks. Utilize Azure Migrate, ASR, and other native or third-party tools to execute data center or workload migrations. Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and cybersecurity requirements. Participate in due diligence, post-acquisition IT integration, and infrastructure consolidation during M&A activities. Required Qualifications: 7+ years of infrastructure engineering and cloud migration experience, specifically with Azure. Strong expertise in Azure Migrate, Site Recovery, ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform. Experience in migrating Windows/Linux workloads, databases, applications, and networking to Azure. Strong understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, identity federation, and hybrid connectivity. Experience working with large-scale enterprise clients or multi-location organizations. Preferred Qualifications: M&A integration experience including data center consolidations, carve-outs, or rapid cloud adoption initiatives. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate.
