DevOps / Compliance with Terraform and AWS

Description:

We’re seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to join our team for 10 to 20 hours per week in support of our mission of improving healthcare quality and patient outcomes with AI-first software. We are a small, remote-first company founded by seasoned technologists and entrepreneurs with experience at organizations such as Amazon, Freenome, Axon, and the Allen Institute for AI. Here’s what you’ll work on: * Expand our existing Terraform architecture to support additional services * Refine our HIPAA compliance picture and continue to support customer isolated deployments * Address compliance issues flagged by AWS or Drata monitoring following our policies * Improve our CI/CD pipeline as needed working with the engineering team and CTO Requirements: * At least 3 years of experience working with Terraform / OpenTofu * Experience with deploying NodeJS applications to AWS on ECS or EKS * Experience with Datadog for log centralization, metrics and alerting * Able to work with at least 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Time zone (PT) * Fluent in English and based in the United States Preferred: * Experience with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2 or other compliance frameworks * Experience working in health technology space or in another highly secure environment * Experience working in a technology startup To apply, please submit your profile along with a 1-2 minute video introducing yourself and explaining why you are a strong fit for this role.
