Responsibilities: Collaborate with the EOE/DESE Organization, Project Managers, Architects, Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance teams in the process of creating software deliverables and artifacts. As a senior team member, adhere to the organization's methodologies and standards, proposing improvements based on software development best practices. Perform Lightning Web Component (LWC) Development and Integration platform development support, including enhancements and bug fixes. Proficiency in using OmniStudio tools such as OmniScript, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures. Familiarity with JSON data structures and JavaScript for customizing OmniStudio components. Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, rollout, and documentation creation. Engage in regularly scheduled meetings to discuss current tasks and provide weekly status reports. Education and Experience: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proven track record of working on large-scale projects with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams. At least 7 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with hands-on expertise in OmniScript and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Experience in developing new business requirements using Lightning Web Components, Lightning Flows, OmniScript, Apex Batches, Triggers, reports, dashboards, workflows, and other solutions. Proficient in programming languages such as SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, Apex, and CSS. Expertise in developing multistep complex UI pages using LWC and OmniScript frameworks. Knowledge of complex Salesforce API integrations for applications residing on various platforms using REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, and other integration tools. Experience implementing asynchronous processing solutions with Platform events, Async Apex, Queueable Apex, CDC, and Lightning Message Service. Deep understanding of Salesforce Experience Cloud (Communities) development and customization. Familiarity with OmniStudio deployment tools such as IDX Workbench, Vlocity Build Tool (VBT), and Salesforce CLI. Strong mentoring and leadership abilities, including performing code reviews and providing guidance to junior developers. Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, including process documentation, naming conventions, and Salesforce policies/procedures. Required Certifications: Platform Developer I & II Certification. OmniStudio Developer Certification. Preferred Skills: Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD). Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint. Experience working with Salesforce-specific IDEs and version control tools (Github, BitBucket) for Salesforce development (VS Code, IntelliJ, SFDX). Knowledge of accessibility laws and WCAG 2.1 compliance. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, and excellent written/verbal communication skills. Experience in K-12 education/curriculum standards is a plus. Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, is a plus. Ability to adapt to changing situations to address emergencies, program changes, or production requirements.
