ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and experienced Sales Advisor to support two emerging technology businesses under the same founder: Wingman API – A cutting-edge Generative AI solution designed to scale authentic, person-led conversations between businesses and their customers, particularly for mid-market B2B SaaS (sales development) teams. tomtA.ai – A proprietary Differential Privacy-based synthetic data platform (DGS) that helps healthcare and biotech companies anonymize sensitive data while preserving data integrity for machine learning workflows. In this role, you will provide expert sales guidance, shape go-to-market strategies, and manage revenue growth opportunities for both ventures. You will drive all aspects of the sales process, from prospecting and pipeline development to deal negotiation and closure. This is a contract position, offering $150/hour for your advisory services, with an expectation of flexible hours per week. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and refine the overarching sales strategy for both Wingman API and tomtA.ai, ensuring alignment with each product’s value proposition, market positioning, and target customer segments. Collaborate with founders to define performance metrics and revenue targets. Pipeline Management & Business Development: Identify and qualify potential leads, focusing on mid-market B2B SaaS companies for Wingman API and healthcare/biotech for tomtA.ai. Cultivate and manage a robust sales pipeline, leveraging industry networks, strategic partnerships, and targeted outreach. Pitching & Deal Negotiation: Conduct product demonstrations, present value propositions, and lead high-level business discussions with C-suite executives, data engineering teams, and other key stakeholders. Negotiate contract terms, pricing structures, and deployment timelines to secure new business while maintaining profitable margins. Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay current on industry trends in Generative AI, data privacy regulations, and emerging tech solutions for customer engagement and data anonymization. Analyze competitor offerings to identify differentiators and strengthen each company’s market positioning. Relationship Building & Client Success: Serve as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, understanding their pain points and guiding them toward effective adoption of Wingman API and tomtA.ai solutions. Collaborate with product teams to ensure smooth onboarding, implementation, and ongoing client satisfaction. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing on lead generation campaigns, sales collateral, and thought leadership initiatives. Provide feedback to technical teams on product features and roadmap based on client and market insights. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Sales Expertise: Proven success in B2B sales and/or strategic business development, ideally with AI and/or data-oriented tech products. Industry Knowledge: Experience in selling to mid-market B2B SaaS and/or the healthcare & biotech sectors. Familiarity with Generative AI, data privacy, or machine learning workflows is highly valued. Communication & Negotiation Skills: Ability to communicate complex tech solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, handle objections, and drive successful deal closures. Network & Relationship-Building: Existing network or proven ability to build relationships quickly within the SaaS, healthcare, and biotech industries. Analytical & Strategic Mindset: Strong ability to interpret market data, competitor insights, and client feedback, translating them into actionable sales strategies. Adaptability & Self-Motivation: Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced startup environment; willingness to pivot strategies based on dynamic market feedback.
