Geospatial System Development for Endangered Species Tracking

We are seeking a skilled freelancer to assist in modifying/building a geospatial system aimed at tracking endangered species activities and creating schedules for their monitoring. This project involves developing a user-friendly platform that integrates geospatial data to monitor and protect vulnerable wildlife populations. Our staff have a more than basic knowledge of the ESRI suite of products and utilize them on a regular basis, but it is imagined that this system will require potential Python/Arcade coding and data manipulation that is outside of our day-to-day usage and knowledge base. The system will involve the manipulation of interrelated data fields in ArcPro/FieldMaps to provide “countdowns” based on multiple inputs. The current configuration uses Contingent Values set up within ArcPro to populate fields outlining the necessary next steps of the project based on the data collected to effectively create a record of future dates that next steps of the project must occur on. Our goal is to create a field that uses the data from these other fields within the feature class to note how many days remain until these next field activities must occur. We anticipate this may require custom code as a field may rely on complex calculations from multiple other fields to produce the desired output. We would also prefer the feature class to have a color gradient that it follows to geospatially indicate those features that are nearing completion of the required action. The ideal candidate should have experience with GIS technologies and a passion for wildlife conservation.
