Social Media Manager and Travel Content Writer Sophie and Stephie: The Travel Sisters (Children’s Travel Picture book series) is looking for a content writer who understands web writing, SEO best practices, and brand-centered storytelling. They will craft various content types—including weekly blog posts, monthly press release, bi-weekly newsletter, social posts and interactive engagement—that address our target audiences and promote our brand. They will research industry topics and trends, optimize content for organic search, revise and edit pieces, ensure brand consistency. An ideal candidate should have passion and experience with international family travel, diversity, innovative approach, and understanding of the children's book market. Key Responsibilities: Bi-weekly Scheduled Email Newsletters: Create engaging, informative, and value-driven weekly email content that keeps our subscribers informed and excited about new blog posts, promotions, or updates. Ensure all emails are on-brand and provide a compelling call to action. Experience with Klaviyo and e-mail list Weekly Blog Content: Write high-quality, SEO-optimized blog posts focused on family travel, kid-friendly activities, and parenting tips. Posts should be well-researched, engaging, and tailored to our audience’s interests. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and family travel destinations to provide fresh, relevant content. Social Media Content: Develop creative copy for social media posts (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.), including captions, hashtags, and short-form articles. Work closely with the team to ensure consistent brand voice and timely engagement with followers. Content Planning & Strategy: Collaborate with the team to plan content calendars for blogs, social media, and email campaigns. Assist in brainstorming and researching content topics that align with the brand’s goals and target audience. Develop Influencer Campaign, manage influencer relationships
