Small Company seeking Business Assistant for Marketing and Data Entry

Are you looking for some side work, that could develop into a full-time Business Assistant / Marketing Manager position? I run a small company with an online store specializing in books and digital resources for law enforcement, and I am looking for solid Business Assistant. The primary roles will be focus on marketing, data entry and customer service. This is a remote position, but a person living in the Lakewood area is preferred. 1-2 in-person meetings will be needed initially, in order to confirm mutual understanding. This is a growing company: the pay will increase according to a scale of company growth – so the better your marketing, the more money you make. The success of the company will generate the opportunity for a full-time position. The company is doing well, but I need someone to take over the some data entry and marketing so I can focus on building the products and expanding the store’s selection. Strong organizational skills and a basic understanding of marketing principles are essential for success in this role. Preferred experience includes: - Digital marketing, specifically Facebook Ads - Excel (InDesign is a bonus) - Online research - Amazon Seller - SEO - Online research Here are a few items to be tasked to the Assistant: - Digital Marketing o Re-vamp or relaunch Facebook store.  Place ads and generate ROI o Re-vamp or re-list about 20+ books on Amazon  Optimize for ROI o Instagram Ads, customer engagement, and influencer outreach o Launch and optimize TikTok Shop - Agency Outreach: o Calls and follow up with various departments and agencies. - Data Entry: Mobile Application o Locate various lists online, re-format and add onto Admin panel. - Data Entry: Books o Locate various lists online, reformat. o Check online state law sites and populate lists on Excel with specific information. - Other various tasks associated with running the business. This is a small company, going to the next level. As the company grows, the pay scale will grow accordingly. And, there will be opportunity for additional tasks. Some of these might include attending events and managing the sales booth or visiting agencies to facilitate book sales.
