Hi, We are looking for a Software Engineer with deep development experience with the core systems of Netsuite, Celigo, and Shopify to come in and conduct a one time audit of our existing flows between the Shopify Storefront (urbanstems.com), our inventory management system (Netsuite), and our proprietary fulfillment (operations pick, pack and ship) application to recommend if we are outside of best practice in some of these areas and to recommend improvements. After the audit is complete, this role has the potential to shift into a longer term contract to assist with implementation inside of an already established engineering team. Qualifications You adapt to new technology quickly and are always looking for opportunities to hone your skills Desire to write clean, scalable, testable, and reliable software in a fast-paced work environment Fluent in Node.js, javascript, and typescript Fluent in Shopify’s liquid template language, as well as Checkout Apps and flows Fluent in both SQL (i.e. MySQL and PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (such as MongoDB, DynamoDB or Redis) database technologies Experienced in building distributed systems for scale and deploying them in the cloud Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3, and Kinesis Experience with NetSuite customization, and Celigo for import/export pipelines Strong ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to shift gears quickly and effectively We’re a small, lean team; a desire to take ownership of tasks and projects is a must Experience in supply chain and/or fulfillment flows and software applications is a plus.
