3500 word creative horror story based in the woods

create a unigue forest or deep woods based horror story. protagonist must be make between the age of 25 - 30 a small backstory and 3500 words of exploration and eventually horror. it must be told in the first person. i am very aware of AI and Do not like it if it is used and overdone. I can easily spot a hyper write or chat gpt story a mile away when it is raw.
