Manhattan, NY (on-site midtown office and occasionally Long Island NY) Schedule: 2–3 days a week, a few hours per day About Us: Lobsterboys is on a mission to bring transparency back to the seafood industry. We’re fourth-generation fishermen flipping the food system—cutting out middlemen, exposing fraud, and delivering wild-caught, traceable lobster straight from the dock to your door. We’ve been featured on Fox, OANN, Axios and more. Now, we’re scaling up our media presence—and we need a fast, flexible, and creative videographer to help us do it. What We’re Looking For: A NYC-based videographer to film with our co-founders in Manhattan 2 - 3 times a week—usually a few hours per day. You’ll help us turn everyday moments, media appearances, and mission-driven content into social-first videos that pop. Responsibilities: - Film video content in Manhattan (primarily B-roll, reels, direct-to-camera, interviews, lifestyle, and product shots) - Upload raw footage same-day to Dropbox (this is a must) - Quickly edit short-form video content optimized for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook etc - Create versions formatted for ads (various aspect ratios and CTAs) as needed (TBD) - Bring creative POV on hooks, pacing, and trends to elevate content -Work closely with our team to align on weekly needs and shoots Ideal Candidate: - Based in NYC and can travel to locations around Manhattan - Has experience shooting for social platforms (especially IG Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts) - Can edit fast and understands what makes a scroll-stopping video - Comfortable working in a fast-moving, founder-led brand environment - A passion for food, founders, storytelling, or sustainability
