We’re looking for a Legal Attorney who is well-versed in crafting airtight legal documents and ensuring compliance across marketing campaigns—especially within the gaming, e-commerce, and sweepstakes space. What You’ll Be Responsible For: Legal Documentation & Policy Development - Draft comprehensive Terms of Service and Privacy Policies tailored to our brand’s gaming and e-commerce experience. - Create and refine Official Rules & Guidelines for all sweepstakes, giveaways, and promotional campaigns (including multi-platform and multi-state compliance). - Ensure all user agreements, disclosures, and opt-in mechanisms are compliant with relevant data privacy laws (e.g., CCPA, GDPR, COPPA, etc.). Sweepstakes Compliance & Regulation - Advise on federal and state sweepstakes laws, platform-specific promotional policies (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), and prize fulfillment regulations. - Review and approve copy related to prize promotions to ensure legal accuracy and proper disclaimers. - Monitor updates in legal requirements surrounding sweepstakes and promotional contests across the U.S. and internationally (if applicable). Risk Management & Brand Protection - Identify potential legal risks in user-generated content, brand messaging, influencer partnerships, and community engagement campaigns. - Provide legal guidance on user rights, IP protection, DMCA takedowns, and community moderation standards. Contract Review & NDA Enforcement - Draft and review NDAs for creative partners, early adopters, and contractors to protect proprietary information. - Ensure partnership agreements and marketing collaborations are legally sound. Qualifications We’re Looking For: - Licensed attorney with experience in sweepstakes law, digital privacy, or IP law. - Strong understanding of gaming culture, social media platforms, and digital marketing compliance. - Demonstrated experience drafting legal policies for e-commerce brands or gaming platforms. - Up-to-date knowledge of data privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and platform-specific terms. - Strong attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and the ability to communicate legal matters clearly to non-lawyers. - Willingness to sign and enforce confidentiality agreements (NDAs) to maintain trust and protection.
