Our work involves a wide network of contractors, subcontractors, landlords, and real estate partners. To support our expanding operations, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contract Lawyer with a strong background in business, construction, and real estate law. Job Summary: As a Contract Lawyer, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of legal agreements related to construction and real estate operations. This includes construction contracts, subcontractor agreements, lease agreements, and letters of intent (LOIs). You will work closely with our leadership team to ensure legal compliance, mitigate risk, and protect the company’s interests in all business dealings. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including: • General contractor and subcontractor agreements • Lease agreements for commercial and residential properties • Letters of Intent (LOIs) for real estate transactions • Vendor and supplier contracts Provide legal advice on contract interpretation, performance obligations, and dispute resolution. Identify potential legal risks in contracts and provide actionable solutions. Assist with claims or litigation related to contract disputes, when necessary. Ensure all contracts are compliant with applicable local, state, and federal laws. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support project execution and operational goals. Maintain and organize legal documentation and contract templates.
