Fractional CFO Needed for 3 Growing Small Businesses ($1,500/month) We’re looking for an experienced Fractional CFO to support three small businesses (retail, liquor, and coffee shop) with strategic financial planning, tax optimization, and scaling operations. This is a long-term, part-time role with a monthly budget of $1,500 covering all three companies. Ideal Candidate: 20+ years of experience in accounting and financial strategy CPA or equivalent certification Part of a small firm (no more than 10 team members) Specializes in companies with $1M–$10M in annual revenue Passionate about small business growth Able to provide honest, strategic advice and act as a true team member Scope of Work: Quarterly Strategic Planning: Cash flow management Business + personal tax planning Advice on entity structure, retirement, asset protection, and EIDL debt elimination Financial Systems & Standardization: Standardize and restructure Chart of Accounts across all companies Provide clear guidance for industry-specific bookkeeping practices Prepare financials to be investor-ready (especially for the coffee shop expansion) Performance & Budgeting: Build monthly projections Review actuals vs. plan Provide quarterly performance analysis and insights Bookkeeping Oversight: Our internal team will handle transaction categorization and reconciliations in QBO Your team can audit and guide us for the first few months Bookkeeping involvement should be minimal after initial setup About Us: We are actively growing three small businesses and need a CFO who understands the nuances of scaling and standardizing finances for retail, liquor, and hospitality.
