QA Stress Testers Needed for Inventory and Sales Tracking Excel-Based Software We are seeking detail-oriented QA engineers with strong Excel skills to help us stress test our custom-built inventory and sales tracking software. If you’re experienced in working with large datasets and uncovering performance bottlenecks, we’d love your help in pushing our Excel-based system to its limits. ----------------------------------- Role Overview ----------------------------------- As a QA stress tester, your primary focus will be to simulate real-world use by working with heavy data loads and specifically testing how the software performs with 20,000 rows of data in the Inventory, Expenses, and Mileage worksheets. Your insights will help us uncover any slow or inefficient functionality, improve system responsiveness, and optimize performance under high-load conditions. ----------------------------------- Responsibilities ----------------------------------- Load and work with large datasets (20,000+ rows) in the Inventory, Expenses, and Mileage screens of the software. Identify any performance issues, lags, or slow calculations within the application. Report on any bugs, bottlenecks, or inefficiencies observed during heavy-use testing. Provide feedback on user experience, especially under stress conditions. Suggest optimizations to improve speed, responsiveness, and reliability. Ability to record your screen to show slow functionality using screen records tools such as Loom or Jam. ----------------------------------- Requirements ----------------------------------- Experience with QA testing, especially with Excel-based applications. Proficiency in Excel and working with large data sets. Strong analytical skills and attention to performance-related details. Ability to clearly document and communicate issues and findings. ----------------------------------- Preferred Qualifications ----------------------------------- Prior experience stress testing Excel tools or financial software. Familiarity with inventory, expense, or mileage tracking systems.
