We’re NOM — a bold, better-for-you chip brand redefining what modern snacking looks (and tastes) like. Our mission is simple: bring joy, spice, and real flavor back to the aisle — no compromises. We’re developing our first product: a corn-based chip inspired by Korean flavors, fried in avocado oil, with a craveable crunch and spice level that people can’t put down. Think the flavor attitude of Hot Cheetos, the ingredient quality of Siete, and the cultural punch of Seoul — made for today’s generation. We’re looking for an experienced food scientist or snack formulator to help bring this product to life. This isn’t just a formulation gig — it’s a chance to help launch what we believe could be the next great snack brand. What you’ll help us do: • Translate our flavor and texture vision into a scalable, commercial-ready chip formula • Source better-for-you ingredients (avocado oil, clean heat, no Red 40) • Perfect crunch, seasoning adhesion, and oil performance for fry-style corn chips • Identify and vet the right co-manufacturer for our first production run • Set us up for efficient, scalable growth Who you are: • You’ve built or scaled snack products — ideally chips, puffs, or extruded goods • You balance bold flavor with production feasibility and cost • You’re fluent in the better-for-you world but focused on taste first • You know how to prep for scale and may already have co-man contacts What we’re expecting: • A final formulation ready for co-man handoff • Ingredient sourcing recommendations (spices, oils, bases) • High-level manufacturing guidance from pilot to packaging • Clear, fast communication and a collaborative mindset How we work: We move fast, give focused feedback, and value transparency. You’ll be working directly with the co-founders. If this goes well, there’s room to grow with us long-term.
