Position Overview Lumusphere is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our founding team. This role is pivotal for shaping the company’s operational foundation, driving product development efforts, and supporting market entry. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in strategizing how our solutions will emerge as game-changers for sports enthusiasts and players alike. This is an equity-based position in the initial phase, with flexibility in time commitment to accommodate other engagements. As funding is secured and commercial operations commence, the position will transition into a traditional compensation model with a competitive salary and benefits. COO Responsibilities As COO, your responsibilities will focus on overseeing the planning, execution, and optimization of efforts critical to launching and scaling Lumusphere. This includes: • Operational Structure and Leadership: • Develop operational frameworks to ensure preparedness for eventual commercial-scale operations. • Oversee relationships with vendors, manufacturing partners, and other stakeholders during the product development phase. • Strategic Development: • Collaborate with the CEO to translate the company vision into actionable strategic priorities. • Lay the groundwork for maintaining efficiency while scaling operations as the company grows. • Product and Market Launch Preparation: • Assist in the logistics of product development, including sourcing and managing prototyping or early production efforts. • Support go-to-market strategies, identifying optimal distribution and engagement tactics. • Talent and Team Building: • Play a key role in building the organizational infrastructure, including recruitment of team members suited for long-term success. • Foster a collaborative, innovative workplace culture. • Financial Planning and Oversight: • Monitor and optimize the financial health of operations, ensuring capital is allocated effectively during the pre-revenue phase. • Work on fundraising strategies alongside the leadership team and support investor engagement efforts.
