As the Snowflake Administrator, you will be the critical point of contact for driving a project forward and managing stakeholder engagement. You’ll oversee building, designing, architecting, and implementing high-volume, high-scale data analytics and machine-learning Snowflake solutions in the cloud. Provide technology leadership in driving large complex Snowflake implementations. Design and develop features, understand customer requirements, and meet business goals. What you will do? 1. Illustrate administrative tasks within the detailed architecture of Snowflake 2. Review Snowflake's best practices & considerations for managing load operations and performance 3. Describe data governance in Snowflake, including column-level data security 4. Managing snowflake in the aspect of assessing role grants 5. Determining the scope of what teams have access to things 6. Conducting audits on the role scopes every quarter 7. Manage multiple accounts across the Organization 8. Describe the DDL operations that work with fundamental database objects 9. Discuss transaction and concurrency models and DML considerations 10. Employ recovery methods and agile development with Time Travel & Cloning 11. Implement advanced techniques for Snowflake performance-tuning methodologies 12. Design and develop secure access to objects in Snowflake with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) 13. Recommend the Snowflake best practices for management, monitoring, and optimization 14. Use data replication for data sharing across accounts and for failover scenarios What do you have? 1. Good sense of Warehouse architecture for performance optimization and scalability on Snowflake. 2. Hands-on working experience in Snowflake, Snow-pipe, SnowSQL, Replication, data-sharing, data-ingestion into Snowflake, etc. 3. 3+ years of experience with the end-to-end implementation of the Snowflake cloud data warehouse. 4. 3+ years of experience in the complete life cycle of EDW projects and a good understanding of dimensional modeling. 5. 2+ years of experience in ad-hoc data analysis, solution design, and reporting dashboards. 6. 2+ years of experience with real-time data ingestion techniques.
