We are seeking a financial analyst to help us pinpoint areas where our business may be losing money. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and experience in financial forecasting and budgeting. The goal is to provide actionable insights to optimize our cash flow and improve profitability. If you're adept at identifying inefficiencies and have a strategic mindset, we would love to hear from you. Below are more details regarding our current situation: - Run a ecommerce business - In business 1.5 year - We run ads on Meta & Google - We sell via Shopify - We have an understanding of metrics (ie AOV, etc) via our Shopify analytics - We sell multiple SKUs - We work with a fractional CFO who set up accrual based accounting so we have up to date financial statements via Quickbooks We have maxed out on our 3 credit cards and despite having strong ROAs and completing our last payment on our MCA loan this week, we are struggling to understand where there is a hole in our business and why we are unable to start to pay down these cards. We can share the statements and details on our unit economics, marketing spend, CAC, etc. We would like someone to help us identify what they key issue is and if we are losing money on each order or not. We are looking for someone to take this information and build a model showing us where the problem might be. In addition, we are preparing for a fundraise so understanding this is critical for us as we aim to grow the business.
