Hi there – I’m the founder of a fast-growing LegalTech startup and a boutique corporate law firm. I’m looking for a highly capable, proactive Executive Assistant who can help manage both my professional and personal life. This role is primarily remote, but I’m seeking someone who is Brooklyn-based or NYC-local and open to coming to Brooklyn 1–2x/week for in-person support (calendar management, errands, organization, or project prep). You’ll be supporting a founder juggling venture-scale startup growth, active legal practice, investor relations, hiring, marketing ops, and some travel — all while maintaining a personal life that needs organization, optimization, and some peace. Key Responsibilities: Professional Support Manage inbox, calendar, scheduling, and meeting coordination Track projects across JIRA (engineering/design/legal ops) Draft basic correspondence and internal documents in Word Help coordinate investor and hiring pipelines Support marketing efforts (Google Ads, analytics pulls, etc.) Light document editing and formatting in Microsoft Word (high precision) Light bookkeeping and expense tracking (QuickBooks Online) Personal Life Ops Coordinate appointments, travel, and errands Help optimize weekly meal plans, scheduling, and routines Organize home and digital life (Dropbox/Drive systems, files, reminders) Research and manage gift lists, thank-yous, logistics for travel or guests Occasional in-person support for life organization in Brooklyn Ideal Experience: Previous EA or Chief of Staff experience for a founder, startup, or law firm Excellent proficiency in: Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets) Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel) JIRA QuickBooks Google Ads / Analytics (basic comfort is a bonus) Organized, discreet, and calm under pressure Strong written communication skills High EQ and strong anticipatory thinking (you see what’s needed before I do) NYC-local strongly preferred Working Style: Mostly remote, but must be willing to come in-person to Brooklyn 1–2x/week Part-time to start (10–20 hrs/week), with room to grow into a larger role Email for comms; Drive and Google Docs for shared task tracking You’ll get clear feedback — but I’d love someone who thrives with some autonomy Why This Role is Special: You’ll be an early right hand to someone building serious legal and technical infrastructure—and you’ll play a direct role in making two businesses more effective while improving the founder’s overall quality of life. If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and love making systems run smoothly, this is for you.
