About Us: We’re 1620 Workwear—a premium apparel brand built for the modern tradesman. We make seriously tough gear for people who work hard, and we’re growing fast. Right now, we’re looking for a contract email marketing expert to level up our retention strategy across both email and SMS. We use Klaviyo, and you’ll be working closely with our Head of Marketing and a graphic designer to build and optimize campaigns that keep our customers coming back. What You'll Do: - Drive retention strategy across email and SMS (Klaviyo) - Plan and run A/B tests (subject lines, timing, content, etc.) - Optimize customer segments to better target messaging - Recommend flow improvements, cadence tweaks, and automation ideas - Advise on campaign calendar, flows, and triggered automation - Analyze performance and share ideas to boost opens, clicks, and conversions - Collaborate with our designer to bring the strategy to life - Keep things moving—test, learn, repeat Who You Are: - A Klaviyo power user with 5+ years in email/retention marketing (DTC or ecomm preferred) - Obsessed with performance metrics—CTR, CVR, LTV, all of it - Confident working independently and pitching smart, strategic ideas - Comfortable juggling email and SMS - Clear communicator and solid team player - Bonus if you’ve worked in apparel, men’s brands, or know our audience (trades + workwear) What We’re Looking For: - Someone who can jump in quickly - 5-7 hours a week - Based in the U.S. or able to work in EST/CST hours - Strong portfolio or examples of past retention growth wins How to Apply: Shoot us: - A short note on your background and Klaviyo experience - A couple examples of campaigns you’ve worked on (bonus points for strategy insights) - Your rate and availability We’re ready to move fast
