We are a team of researchers at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, looking for help with assessing the quality of AI-generated educational analogies about science concepts. We will provide you with a detailed rubric for assessing analogies based on several criteria (e.g., accuracy, coherence, etc.). Sample instructions for rating analogies is attached. You should carefully review each analogy and provide your ratings for all the criteria based on our rubric. The whole project should take about 2 weeks. You must be proficient in english and have prior experience with teaching or instruction design for elementary, middle school, and high school science in the US. Rating will be done remotely on our website, so basic computer skills is a must. Prior experience with data annotation/labeling for AI research projects is a plus.
